is an 8-bit processor that lives inside smart contracts and is clocked by the chain itself. The design is ST-8: 2,161 NAND gates, 167 flip-flops, 16 registers, 256 bytes of RAM and 32 instructions, all of them used. Its gate array is deployed on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663) at 0xeB549a6c80698d3e33eA2F9ffEF2555aB918c36F. A chip advances only when somebody sends a transaction: step() is permissionless, and each call clocks the machine exactly one cycle and emits a Stepped event carrying the input byte and the cycle it went in on, so a chip's entire history is reconstructible from logs alone, with no indexer. A factory contract lets anyone deploy their own chip and launch its token in one transaction, with the chip's card drawn on chain by a pure renderer rather than served from a website. The same processor also runs with no chain and no wallet at all, in a browser or through npx stepper-cli.
